Stay here every year with our fishing club. Rooms are clean, comfortable, and reasonably priced. You can’t do better than having Dave and Liz as your hosts. Really accommodating and they’ve worked hard to make several improvements. Looking forward to our trip there again next year.
Nice place! Clean, newly remodeled and redecorated, comfortable. And they allowed my dog and I appreciated how nice the room was even though it was a “dog” room. I will absolutely stay there again.
We stayed while in the area for a fishing trip and this spot was perfect! Can't say thank you enough to the owners for working with us on some last minute plans since we did not have a reservation. Thanks again, we'll definitely be back next time we are up that way!
Dave and Liz, the owners, are two of the kindest people I have ever met. I was there to relax and enjoy a fishing weekend when my car needed servicing. They picked me up at the dealer, drove back to my boat, hitched it to their truck, took me to the launch, and got me on the water. When I was finished, I called Dave and he returned to the launch and took my boat and myself out of the water and back to the motel. That evening, he again drove me back to the dealer to pick up my vehicle. The things he did for me were amazing and he asked nothing in return. I look forward to staying at their motel next year and beyond. The accommodations are clean, comfortable, and reasonably priced. Give it a try, you will not be disappointed. Vince
The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Nice and quiet too. I slept well. Liz was great and called me to let know I left my phone charger right after I left (in time for me to come back and grab it) before I was too far down the road. I was there with an Airstream club but was unable to bring my camper and stayed at the motel. We all head a great time and were treated well. I will stay there the next time I am in the area.
Really enjoyed our stay! Perfect for a guys fishing trip and for that matter, trip with the family. Fish cleaning station onsite is a huge plus. Liz is very attentive to the needs of her guests. We will be coming back for many years to come.
I met the owners over two years ago and instantly clicked. Couldn’t have a better host and hostess for camping in the Sturgeon Bay area. They are truly wonderful people and really care about your stay. The campgrounds are very clean and well-maintained. I am a forever customer, you guys are the best. Can’t wait to see you guys next year.
It was our first time visiting Door Co so we picked the most affordable RV site that wouldn't be too far out of the way and this location did not disappoint. It would get a 5 star rating if it had sewer hookups or a dump station but we were able to make do. The owners were very friendly and helpful and restroom/showers were clean and private. We were here to see the sites and geocache around the countryside looking for barn quilts so it was a very good location for us. Sites are close together but we were on an end site with no one on the other side so it felt more spacious. Would recommend highly.
